Description
Register today for Organic and Conventional Weed Control Methods!
Approved for 1 CEC in category 103 Agriculture Weed Control
Workshop #21047
Synopsis:
The motivation for avoiding conventional herbicides vary wildly from person to person. Understanding the best options for property specific issues is critical in gaining the trust of the individual(s) you are working with. Additionally, presenting useful information for both organic and conventional methods should result in a more aware and educated public.
Participants will learn:
- The concept of “organic” can vary from person to person. Be able to explain how a method may not be organic but could be more beneficial to land quality/health.
- Not write off an organic option in some situations, due to stigma of lesser efficacy.
- Be able to inform landowners that there is no single solution to good weed management.
